HOW WE APPROACH IT
Every land clearing job starts with understanding what you need the property to look like when we’re done. Some clients need every tree and stump removed. Others need selective clearing that leaves certain trees in place. Development sites often need grubbing and debris removal so that grading can begin. We talk through the scope before we start so the end result matches what the project actually needs.
For jobs where forestry mulching is the right approach, we do that too. It’s not the bulk of our land clearing work, but it’s part of what we offer.
OUR LAND CLEARING PROCESS
Step 1 — Free Site Walk. We walk the property with you to understand the end goal — full clearing for a build site, selective clearing that leaves certain trees, or something in between.
Step 2 — Tree & Brush Removal. Depending on the scope, we cut and remove trees and heavy brush, or use a track-mounted forestry mulcher to grind vegetation into mulch in a single pass where that method fits the site.
Step 3 — Stump Grinding & Grubbing. For development sites that need to be graded afterward, we grind or remove stumps and grub the root systems so grading crews aren’t fighting buried material later.
Step 4 — Debris Haul-Off. Cleared material that isn’t mulched in place is hauled from the site.
Step 5 — Grade-Ready Handoff. The property is left in the condition your project’s next phase needs — whether that’s grading, construction, or simply an open, usable parcel.

It works well in certain situations. We do offer forestry mulching as part of our land clearing work, though it’s not always the right method for every site. Do you remove stumps as part of land clearing?
Stump removal or grinding is typically part of a full land clearing scope, especially for development sites where the land needs to be graded afterward. If your project requires it, we’ll include it. If you just need brush and trees cleared and stumps aren’t a concern, we can work with that too.
